Camotes Island Resort

You can take a ferry both or a fast craft from Pier 1 in Cebu City to port poro Camotes but it is much further and will still take four hours to reach to Mangodlong and Santiago Camotes. My friend and I stayed at The Mangodlong Rock resort. We were told it was one of the nicest beach resorts on Camotes Island. The service was good and it is reasonably priced.

We began our tour at Lake Danao which was one the biggest lakes that I ever seen. It was nice but we decided not to change into our swim suits and take a swim. After Lake Danao we proceeded to the place they called Sunog cave. It was huge and we were told the water was very deep. It was very dark and kind of eerie inside that cave so we again decided against going for a swim. Perhaps we will the next time we visit that cave.

The third part of your tour is in Boho Buro. We climbed to the top of the cliff looking down into the deep blue water of the beach below. The beach looked like a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a lazy day playing in the waves. Even though we were getting tired, there was still time to stop by the other cave near by called Bukilat cave. I really dont know why they use that kind of funny name for a cave. No one gave me a reason for the name when I asked about it. The Bukilat cave is smaller than the Sunog cave and has plenty of light because of several holes in the ceiling that gives direct light from the sun.

Surf’s up for Fuerteventura holidays as The PWA World Tour visits the popular resorts sandy beaches

Some people look at the stunning North African coastline of Fuerteventura and want to do nothing but laze on the endless miles of beautiful sandy beaches for a week and enjoy the year round sunshine and cool breezes. But for those of a more adrenalin-fuelled nature Fuerteventura holidays are all about full throttle action and between July and August, when the The PWA World Tour visits Fuerteventura’s Sotavento beaches for its annual Grand Slam, the island becomes a mecca for fans of kitesurfing. This free to watch world class event is one of the few where you can see men and women competing against each other as they take to windy waters that have long made the island a favourite of watersports fans. The summer trade winds average from 10 to 25 knots, making the ocean here the perfect spot for this event. The competition offers up two visual options, you can line up to watch the competitors deal with the slalom challenge, or wait for the more imaginative freestyle round, where competitors fool around performing tricks on their boards in the water.

If watching the professionals taming the sea inspires you to get out on the water then there are plenty of opportunities, with many holiday deals offering visitors to the island the chance to spend some time learning to kite surf or sail. The best kite surfing locations on Fuerteventura can be found in Corralejo to the north, El Cotillo on the west coast, Caleta de Fuste and Playa de Sotavento and Playa de Esquinzo. Kitesurfing in the North of Fuerteventura is suitable for all levels, and there are a few kite surfing schools to choose from. We recommend one of the popular two or four day courses to give you an idea if you are going to enjoy taming the tides. Kite at Fuerteventura are a popular and respected outfit that will take you through all the basics and get you up and out on the water throwing shapes and waving at the wind before you know it. They’re also recognised by the International Kiteboarding Organisation, so you can be sure you’ll be in safe hands. If you’re a veteran of Fuerteventura holidays then you’ll know that this island is not only paradise for watersports’ enthusiasts. And booking an affordable time need not be too much of a challenge as there are many holiday deals all year round which will enable you to enjoy what many people regard as the best beaches and coastal activities in Europe. .

Why Is Tourism So Important To The Caribbean

The Caribbean is a very popular holiday destination for people from all over the world. The vast range of Caribbean cruises and resorts gives tourists many options so they can decide on the vacation that suits them the best. There are a number of benefits of tourism in the Caribbean both for holidaymakers and locals these include:

Packages
The tourism industry in the Caribbean is very simple due to the majority of holidaymakers deciding to take up the all-inclusive vacation packages. Due to the fact that planning holidays to the Caribbean takes up a massive amount of time, most Caribbean tourists decide to stay in all-inclusive resorts, where packages can be provided that cover all accommodation and meals for a set price.

Diversity
Caribbean tourism also provides another benefit through the fact that there is a wide selection of activities available to tourists. For tourists wishing to chill out during their holidays there are beaches, swimming pools, fine dining and low-key nightlife. For those more adventurous tourists, there are loads of outdoor activities like tennis, hiking and water sports.

Economic Advantages
There are major economic advantages to be gained from tourism for the islands. Given the fact that there are few natural resources, Caribbean locals are heavily dependent on tourism to provide them with their income. The staff at resorts who provide services to tourists are most likely to feel the economic impact if there is an decrease in tourist numbers and gain economically when there is an increase in tourism.

Nature
Another major benefit of tourism in the Caribbean is the fact that there are opportunities to spend time in a natural setting. The majority of the islands are not heavily developed and the problems like air and noise pollution are rarely present. Tourists that come from major cities are very appreciative of the Caribbeans peaceful environment.
